Danish post-punk band, Iceage, unleashed a storm of raw energy at Synästhesie Festival in Berlin last month.
The band derives inspiration from sonic and visual art, often experimenting with instruments not typically found in punk. In a 2021 interview with Elias Rønnenfelt, the frontman revealed that the band’s track ‘Against the Moon’ was inspired by a church organ, as well as insomnia-induced reflections on Peter Bruegel’s painting ‘Pissing Against the Moon.’
