Desire, the synth-pop project from Megan Louise and Johnny Jewel, have released their latest video/single for the sultry dance track “Telling Me Lies”. Creating a world in only the way the team from Italians Do It Better can, we are transported to a latex-laden, 80s-esque prison cell — complete with dramatic fan action, choreography, and a prison break to boot. Desire is about exactly that — desire — leaning into indulgence, opulence, drama, and all these mega and major.
Fit for the club, the dance floor, going dark places and doing dark deeds, “Telling Me Lies” is an exciting addition to the songs previously released for Desire’s upcoming album Escape out May 3rd via Italians Do It Better.
